A presentation by the Italian American Historical Society of Rhode Island that will highlight excerpts from its recently published book: Voices of Rhode Island's Italian Americans. This hugely successful book, now in its second printing, captures the stories of 62 Italian immigrants, or their family members, who came to this state from the late 19th century through post World War II. This presentation will focus on the stories of the Italian women and their struggles to make a better life here in Rhode Island.
This event is sponsored by the RI Region of the National Organization of Italian American Women. Gentlemen are always welcome!
