The Italian American Historical Society of CT's Distinguished Service Award Dinner will be on May 1, 2016 at Anthony's Oceanview Restaurant, 450 Lighthouse Road, New Haven. Cocktail hour begins at 1:00 p.m. and dinner at 2:00 p.m. This year's honorees are the well-known singers Nina Pane Sanseverino, (daughter of legendary Neapolitan singer Giuseppina Pane) and Tenor Aaron Caruso.

Also being honored is Anthony Tamburri, a Dean of Italian at Queens College in NY, and published author of many books promoting Italian language and culture.
