Lucy B. (Scamporino) Fiorentini, 93, mother of Haverhill Mayor James J. Fiorentini and a lifelong resident of Haverhill, passed away Monday morning with her family by her side.

She was born in Haverhill April 16, 1923, daughter of the late Guido and Elizabeth (De-Cristofaro) Scamporino. She attended Haverhill Public Schools and was a graduate of Dean Academy in Franklin and Bryant and Stratton College in Boston. Fiorentini was the wife of the late John A. Fiorentini, who passed in 2007. They shared more than 60 years of marriage together.
