Dr. Frank Mazzaglia. April 15, 1936 – April 21, 2021. MAZZAGLIA, Francis R. "Frank" Age 85, of Grafton, MA, passed away on Wednesday, April 21, 2021 in the comfort of his home. Born and raised in Lawrence, he was the son of the late Salvatore "Sam" and Marian (Aloisi) Mazzaglia. After graduating from Central Catholic in Lawrence, he attended Boston College and received a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration.
Shortly after graduating, he enlisted in the United States Army and proudly served his country until his honorable discharge. Upon his return, Frank, eager to further pursue his education, attended Boston State College, receiving a Master's degree in Education, during that time he worked in public relations at Lesley College and Holy Ghost Hospital St. James Society.
Frank later attended Suffolk University where he received a Master's degree in Business Administration, and received a Doctorate degree in Education from Harvard University in 1989. With a passion for education and knowledge, Frank began to work at Anna Maria College where he developed the Masters of Business Administration program. He was a very accomplished man who later in life taught criminal justice at Curry College and for eleven years at UMass Lowell prior to his retirement in 2019. In 2018, he established the Italian American Alliance and became Chairman of the Board. Francis is survived and will be deeply missed by North Star, Elizabeth, and his sister, Carmelina Seman; and many nieces and nephews. Along with his parents, he was predeceased by his sister, Phyllis Lucas.
