Hundreds of people flocked to Portland’s “Little Italy” neighborhood on Saturday evening for the 99th annual "St. Peter's Italian Bazaar and Street Festival." Events were supposed to start Friday night but were postponed due to the weather. A great place to get an authentic Italian experience with live music and of course, Italy’s famous specialties: cannoli, pasta, pizza and more.
Folks say they love this "authentic experience" and how down to earth it is. "It feels like old school Maine to me, like people are just hanging out, it's not super trendy or anything, it's just regular folks hanging out. I think this is one of the top events in the area and I wouldn't miss it,” said attendee Anders Nielsen.
