Rainfall didn't stop the 22nd Worcester Columbus Day Parade in Worcester as local high school bands, city officials and grand marshal, Worcester Public Schools Safety Director Rob Pezzella, marched down Shrewsbury Street Sunday.
People with umbrellas watched on Shrewsbury Street while others sat in cars as a steady rain fell on the street during the parade. Pezzella, 60, was proud to represent the parade especially after growing up not far from Shrewsbury Street as a child.
