Residents and visitors in Boston's North End are celebrating the St. Anthony's Feast this weekend -- a tradition that dates back more than 100 years. "It's always a big celebration in the North End, and the whole neighborhood comes out to celebrate with us,” said Michael Bonett, vice president of the St. Anthony’s Feast Committee.
The final weekend of August signals the start of St. Anthony's Feast. Organizers call it the largest Italian Religious Festival in New England, continuing a tradition that began in 1919. "Every day there's a little something different.
