The Pannese Society of Providence is excited to Announce a Crowning and BlessingCeremonial Mass that has not been done in about 100 years.
The Celebration Mass will take place on Sunday, June 1st, at 10:30 AM at Our Lady of Grace Church in Johnston RI.
Our Patron Saint "La Madonna Del Bosco" has been refurbished and has been given a home at Our Lady of Grace Church in Johnston.
The saint is over 100 years old and was shipped over from
Panni, Foggia, Italy in the early 1900's to Providence, RI.
The Mayor of Panni, Italy visitedProvidence & Johnston in 2013 and promised to have the crowns made in Italy & shipped to the USA. The crowns were blessed in Panni at a special Mass & donated by Mayor Pasquale Ciruolo and Deputy Mayor Amedeo De Cotiis of Panni and havearrived in Johnston to be blessed at a special Mass at Our Lady of Grace Church.
Everyone is welcome to attend the Mass and Celebration Dinner

at 12 p.m.
Italian Buffet Dinner is $15.00 p/person, children under 10 free.
