Unico National, Torrington Chapter, will present the Community Ambassadors Award to longtime residents Charlie and Pat Marciano at the club's scholarship awards ceremony on Wednesday, June 8. The event will be held at at Chatterly's Banquet Facility, starting at 5 p.m. The couple has been married for 46 years and both are lifelong residents of Torrongton.

Pat Marciano has worked for the United Way of Northwest Connecticut for 29 years and serves as its office manager. She has been a member of the Torringford Volunteer Fire Department for 29 years, along with her husband and daughter, LeeAnne, and was named president of the department in 2013.
