The Grand Lodge of Massachusetts, part of the national Order Sons of Italy in America, is honoring several leaders in the Italian-American community, and will also award $30,000 in scholarships to graduating high school seniors at the Massachusetts Education and Law Awards, on Sunday, May 3.
This is a continuation of a 31-year tradition of the Grand Lodge's commitment to social justice, previously known as the Law and Justice Awards. The event will also honor three outstanding public servants. Judge Robert B. Calagione, of the Westborough and Milford district courts, will receive the Justice Award.
