Organizers laid out the details for the 57th annual Columbus Day Parade and tournament of bands sponsored by Mirabito. A news conference was held in the MetroCenter lobby in Binghamton this morning. This year's parade and Italian festival will begin from at 10 am.
The parade will begin at the corner of Arthur and Main Streets. It will include nearly a dozen bands that will take part in a New York State juried competition. Also included is homemade Italian cuisine made by the Sons of Italy and the Abruzzese Club. Mayor Rich David says the City will soon be cascaded in the Italian colors.
