State Senator Joseph P. Addabbo, Jr. was chosen by his Senate and Assembly colleagues to serve as president of the New York Conference of Italian-American State Legislators. The conference is a bipartisan organization of New York State Senate and Assembly members who are actively involved in promoting and celebrating the state’s Italian American community.
The conference’s mission is to highlight Italian American contributions to the state of New York in areas including literature and other arts, architecture, and politics and to work to dispel any negative stereotypes of Italian Americans.
