The 55th annual Columbus Day Parade and Italian Festival will be celebrated Oct. 13 in downtown Binghamton, marking the city's rich Italian American community.
The event opens at 9 a.m., with the Italian flag raised outside City Hall. At 10 a.m., the parade will kick off at Arthur and Main streets, then to Court Street and finish on State Street.
