The Board of Directors of the Centro Culturale Italiano di Buffalo is excited to announce Lindsey Lauren Visser as the new Executive Director. Lindsey Lauren joined the CCI in February of 2021 as Deputy Director where she played a critical role in preparing the organization for its grand opening.
Since then, she has overseen the development of the CCI's award-winning public programming, expanded the membership program, and managed administrative operations. In her new position, Lindsey Lauren will be responsible for implementing the CCI's strategic plan, building community partnerships, and continuing to ensure the overall success of the CCI.
Prior to joining the CCI, she worked at the Theodore Roosevelt Inaugural Site, The Buffalo History Museum, and other historical culturals across WNY. Lindsey Lauren holds a Master's Degree from the University of Oxford and a BA from Canisius College.
Lindsey Lauren was selected as Executive Director following current Executive Director John Vecchio's decision to retire from the CCI operations team. John will remain with the organization as fundraising counsel. The board is grateful to John for his leadership, expertise, and commitment to the organization.
