The Canastota Italian Heritage Committee invites the public to the Italian-American Festival this Saturday to celebrate and honor Italian American culture. The celebration of Italian American culture will feature live local entertainment, Italian and American cuisine, historical displays and demonstrations, produce sales, local artisan booths offering custom merchandise, and beer and wine. MillerTime Entertainment will take the stage at noon and Krusin Oldies will play at 3:30 p.m.

The festival is for a good cause, Committee Chairwoman Rosanne Warner said. "There was interest from some residents in the village to do another edition of the Italian Heritage books," Warner said.
