Galleria Ca' d'Oro and Villa Firenze Foundation are pleased to announce their installation at Columbus Circle. Named after Cristopher Colombus, the Circle is one of New York's most iconic intersections, also the point from which all official distances from New York City are measured.
Eight Giant red snails have been placed around the famous monument created by Italian sculptor Gaetano Russo, erected as part of New York's 1892 commemoration of the 400th anniversary of Columbus' landing in the Americas. Curated by owner and director of Galleria Ca' d'Oro, Gloria Porcella, the exhibition will last through January 6th, 2014.
