The Giglio Society of East Harlem would like all its members to know that we will not be participating in this year's NYC's Columbus Day parade to be held on Monday, October 12th, 2015.
The preparation for this event is very taxing on our society. Parade permits and applications need to be submitted and approved. Our float and saints have to be prepared for the parade. As you are aware, marching in the Columbus Day parade has gotten our society great publicity and exposure for our Giglio feast.
