Deacon Bob Esposito, 80, peacefully passed away from this earthly life on Friday, November 8, 2019 in The Villages, Florida. Deacon Bob was born on July 27, 1939 in the Bronx, New York to his parents Anna and Carmine Esposito. Deacon Bob graduated from James Monroe High School in 1960, Hunter College in 1964, graduated with his Master’s Degree in 1968 from CUNY, PDP Degree from Fordham University in 1976, and he was ordained to the Permanent Diaconate in the Archdiocese of NY in 1979.
Deacon Bob worked as a school principal for children with special needs for most of his life, working in school systems in NYC, Putnam and Northern Westchester County. He also taught at the College level as an adjunct Professor for over 20 years. He then retired from the city schools and fulfilled his dream of being a school principal of a Catholic School in White Plains, NY. Deacon Bob and his wife, Ann, were the Directors of Religious Education for over 35 years in Mahopac, NY.
