Gearing up for Brooklyn's 35th annual Columbus Parade, the Federation of Italian-American Organizations (FIAO) hosted a pre-parade brunch at Dyker Beach Golf Course (Seventh Avenue and 86th Street) on Sunday, October 2.

Chosen by FIAO as the parade's Grand Marshals this year, State Senator Diane Savino, Assemblymember Pamela Harris, Nicholas Caiazzo Esq. and Thomas Sorrentino CPA were honored at the annual brunch. "It went very well," said Edy Cussari, a spokesperson for FIAO. "We had a nice crowd of people and everybody was happy and content all day. We have four grand marshals and there was a nice speech, emotional, I would say."
