Last week, Watertown lost one of its longtime restaurateurs as Frank Curcio, who opened Stellina on Main Street in 1986, passed away at the age of 74. Curcio, who opened the Italian restaurant with his wife Ginnie, died unexpectedly on Nov. 14.

Prior to his entrance into the restaurant business. Curcio earned his doctorate in psychology from Clark University and was a tenured professor of psychology by the age of 27 at Boston University from 1966-1986.
