Construction is nearing completion on The Grand Mulberry, a seven-story mixed-use building at 185 Grand Street in Little Italy. Designed by Morris Adjmi Architects and developed by Oved Group and Nexus Development Group, the property will yield 20 residential units above ground-floor retail space and the Italian American Museum. The project is located at the corner of Mulberry and Grand Streets.
Recent photos show the detailed red brick façade on the northern and eastern elevations. The brick is laid in a double-stacked running bond pattern surrounding a spacious grid of punched windows lined with dark rectangular metal frames.
