Over 130 people packed the Italian Cultural Foundation at the hilltop Casa Belvedere mansion on Grymes Hill Tuesday evening to hear author Paul Moses discuss his book, "An Unlikely Union: The Love-Hate Story of New York's Irish and Italians."
The event was the most well-attended book presentation and lecture in Casa Belvedere's history, organizers said. Judging from a show of hands among members of the audience, many Staten Islanders were drawn to the event because they share Italian and Irish family roots.
