The 43rd Annual Feast in honor of St. Antonio Abate sponsored by the Fraternal Society of Castrofilippo Inc. began yesterday in Astoria, Queens. The feast, located on Ditmars Boulevard from 38th to 35th Streets, runs until Sunday June 23. The stretch is smoky, sweet and delicious with Puerto Rican and Latin American cuisine, Italian American street food classics and bites from the new Australian spot; The Thirsty Koala.
Try some corn on the cob roasted on the grill inside its husk—no butter necessary. The chicken skewers are tender, meaty and get your hands messy. There's lemonade and watermelon, too.
