The Ulster County Italian American Foundation will host its inaugural Italian Festival from noon to 8 p.m. Sunday at T.R. Gallo Park at the foot of Broadway. Admission is free to the rain-or-shine event.
Mayor Shayne Gallo will be honored for assisting the new non-profit organization, dedicated to preserving and promoting Italian heritage and culture in Ulster County and beyond, organizers said. The festival will feature authentic Italian food, desserts and products by more than 15 vendors. Italian wines and beers will be available.
