A 37-year-old man, visiting his girlfriend in the city, was pestering customers to buy him beer at a Bronx bodega just after midnight on Friday.

One of the fed-up strangers unleashed an open-handed assault on Oliver D'Orio as they squared off outside the Guerrero Deli on Washington Ave. in Belmont. The blow sent the Italian man tumbling onto the sidewalk.
