Turning 100 is the gold standard for a distinguished group of super seniors fortunate to reach that milestone, and celebrate 10 decades of a life well-lived. Most centenarians enjoy reveling in all the accolades and extra attention from family members, friends and even strangers. In fact, these days centenarians are the fastest growing population in the world.
Giuseppina Cianciolo is one of them. The “birthday girl” was excited when she was feted by more than 50 family members and friends at her 100th birthday bash in Patrizia’s Ristorante of Great Kills. And it was evident, she loved every minute of it.
