Assemblyman Chad A. Lupinacci (R, C, I – South Huntington) attended a February 24 forum dedicated to combating discrimination within the higher education system.
Speakers at the forum, which was sponsored by the New York Conference of Italian-American State Legislators, of which he is a member, discussed the discrimination Italian immigrants faced when coming to America in the 19th and 20th centuries, and linked those historic examples to challenges minority students currently face.
