Sometimes, it seems there are no truly fresh artistic discoveries, since collectors have gotten very good at scouring the landscape for talent and then snapping it up. Then, a show like “Antonio Petruccelli: Rediscovering a Modernist” comes along, and we realize that we have not seen it all yet.
The show, comprising 40 works, all original gouaches on board, is up through September 6 in a private, by-appointment space at Manhattan’s HELICLINE FINE ART, and the works are available on 1stDibs.
