To support House of Mercy and its mission of serving and advocating for Rochester’s homeless citizens, the Little Italy Neighborhood Association donated the remaining food from the 2018 Little Italy Festival. “The only way we will be able to help the less fortunate people of Rochester is by working together to bring about positive change,” said Silvano Orsi, chairman and president.
“The House of Mercy is one of the finest organizations in the city, and I’m honored to be able to help further their cause.” House of Mercy provides food, shelter and clothing to those in need in Rochester. It provides more than 4,000 families with food each month, as well as 2,000 cooked meals.
