Pasquale Lubrano, a Plainview resident, emigrated from Italy to the United States in 1957, he was seeking the American dream.
He realized his dream in 1980 when he opened La Bussola Ristorante, a restaurant in Glen Cove. As business grew, he opened additional locations in Huntington and Mineola, and his four sons joined the family restaurant chain.
