Speed, Velocity and Design: Futurism in Motion.
Futurism was the first cultural and artistic movement of the twentieth century to glorify speed, chaos, fighting, dynamism, and energy. The show celebrates the contribution that this movement had on creativity in design, from automobiles to dinner plates. Enjoy an afternoon with Italian cars, food, wine, and music.
1:30pm to 6:00pm: Outdoor Classic Auto Display: Italian sports cars such as Ferrari, Maserati, and Lamborghini on display in Depot Square
2:00pm to 3:30pm: Italian Food and Wine Tasting inside the Westchester Italian Cultural Center. Admission $25
3:30pm: Trophy Ceremony: A panel of judges will rate the cars based on various characteristics. Trophies will be awarded to winners in each category.
4:15pm to 5:00pm: Musicians in the Piazza: a concert for all to enjoy while strolling around the square
5:30pm: Closing Remarks
