We are delighted to present two books of poetry. Joey Nicoletti's Reverse Graffiti (Bordighera Press, 2015) has been hailed as a collection of "powerful, heartfelt poems that bring an era to life," stated Maria Mazziotti Gillan. She continued, "Nicoletti's book ... is dotted with images from popular culture - Captain Marvel, Spider Man, the Yankees - and these images are part of the story of his Italian-American family, his working-class roots."
In his latest collection, Logos (Guernica Editions, 2015), Gil Fagiani doesn't hold back in presenting the bitter truths as well as the glimpses of hope shared not just by addicts but by all humans in times of crisis. Frank Lentricchia stated, "I have never read anything like Logos..., nothing like the vividness, immediacy, humor, and pain that I find in Fagiani's writing. His poems, to put it briefly, exude reality in startling ways." Discussion moderated by Anthony Julian Tamburri. Books will be available for signing.
