Republican Langone wins Jefferson County Family Court judge seat

For the first time in 30 years, Jefferson County will have a new Family Court judge: Republican Eugene J. Langone Jr.
The Watertown attorney defeated Democrat and fellow attorney Susan A. Sovie, Sackets Harbor, 13,704 to 7,106, in Tuesday's election, according to unofficial results tallied by the county Board of Elections.
