With cannoli and steak-eating contests at the Italian Festival at The Mount, “abbondanza” food is part of the draw to Mount Loretto’s fall fundraiser. This year, the Columbus Day weekend revelry runs four days straight, from Oct. 6 through Oct. 9. “In the crisp autumn air, this is a tremendous event for borough residents, a great crossroads for meeting up with long-time friends and our beautiful neighbors,” said Claire Atalla, CEO of host Catholic Charities of Staten Island.
She continued, “We’re always building up more each year but consistently the music has always been incredible here with our local, talented artists. We are so blessed to live on Staten Island with the bucolic Mount Loretto as a backdrop.”
