From GMG Public Relations, clinic Inc.: The Rockland Sons of Italy Lodge 2176 recognizes students each month who study the Italian language at area schools. The students are presented with a monetary gift at a monthly dinner hosted by the Lodge members for the students, story teachers and the families. To date they have honored over 23 students.
On November 30th, the Lodge held another dinner honoring several students: Villaggia Antonucci and Rebecca Schmidt from Tappan Zee High School and Samantha Impeduglia an 8th grade student from Tappan Zee Middle School.
