Tony "D" Decicco of the CNBC reality TV show "Staten Island Hustle" died of lung cancer Monday. He was 61. Friends of Decicco said he was diagnosed with cancer shortly after filming wrapped, explaining his absence from the glitzy premiere party at Angelina's Ristorante in Tottenville.
CNBC described this hustler as a Wall Street veteran with over 30 years of experience. He mentored and taught a lecture series on investing, and is credited with training over 18,000 financial advisors. On the show, Tony focused on whether or not the numbers made sense, took care of the legal work, patents, contracts, professional business plans and often helped secure funding for many of their projects.
