Annual Waldensian Festival includes bocce

It is getting close to that time of year when the bocce enthusiasts start gearing up for the annual Waldensian Festival Bocce Tournament.
Every year on the second Saturday in August, the town of Valdese holds the annual Waldensian Festival to honor their Italian heritage. This year the event will be held on Aug. 9, and includes numerous activities throughout the day including the annual bocce tournament.
