Attorney Antonietta Brancaccio is the new Italian Honorary Consul in Orlando, Florida, appointed by Consul General Cristiano Musillo with the approval of the Embassy, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the U.S. Department of State. The appointment ceremony took place on December 10, 2021 at 10:00 am at the newly opened Italian design room at the Italian Consulate in Miami.

Present were her husband Domenic Balzano, her children Alfonso, Catherine and Vittoria and her father-in-law Alfonso Balzano. The Consul expressed great confidence and esteem in the lawyer, saying he was sure that the work will be carried out impeccably knowing his professionalism.

The Honorary Consul expresses her gratitude towards the Consular body and in particular the Consul General, and promises to the Italian community to carry out this task with great humility and devotion. After the ceremony, the Consul General and the Honorary Consul met to discuss future projects that not only include concrete help such as passport renewals, certifications, and other projects to promote the Italian language and culture, the consolidation of relationships with local institutions and universities, the formation of a network to facilitate the development of projects, and the promotion of Made in Italy. The Honorary Consulate is located at 111 N Orange Ave, in the heart of the city and will be open to the public from December 30, 2021.
