Saturday December 13, 2014 – Time: 6:30 p.m.
This month Ciancia hosts the greatest and most attended event of the year: la Festa di Natale. Come celebrate with us the most cherished holiday in Italy, and take a chance to support our club's activities. Our committee is making a great effort to make this into a memorable party.
Our Festa di Natale features great food, rivers of Prosecco and mounds of Panettone; of course, fabulous people, great conversation, live opera singers, news and our famous raffle for a gift basket so lavishly assembled you will hardly be able to carry it home. This is also our annual fund-raiser – please, read below for this special event's door policy. This is Ciancia at its very best and you don't want to miss this evening! Don't miss this opportunity to celebrate Ciancia's 23rd year and support the club you love. This great and festive event is taking place at the beautiful home of Carmine and Courtney Noce.
Carmine was born in Florence, Italy. He attended the University of Economics in Florence and one year in France Commercial Institute in Nancy, where he met his wife. He moved to the United States in 2005 where he worked for four years as a consultant for Deloitte, then moved to NY, where he now directs Canali's wholesale headquarters. Courtney Noce was born in Frankfurt, Germany and raised in Atlanta, Georgia. She studied business at McGill University in Montreal, and met her husband Carmine during a semester abroad at the Institute Commercial de Nancy (ICN) in Nancy, France. After graduation Courtney lived and worked in Florence, Italy prior to moving back to Atlanta. Courtney then worked for the Georgia Department of Economic Development where she helped recruit and expand technology companies in the state. She later graduated from Georgia State University's School of Law and began practicing Corporate Immigration law with the firm of Pozo Goldstein, LLP in New York, New York. In 2014, Courtney moved back to Atlanta a second time to assist the firm in opening an Atlanta office. Courtney and Carmine have a two year old son named Enzo. You may have to guess who redesigned and renovated their beautiful home!
FOOD & WINE: You may bring any food (ready to be consumed), Italian Prosecco or wine to this party.
ATTENTION ATTENDEES: This meeting starts one hour earlier than our ususal time. This is our annual fundraiser event: a $10 individual contribution at the door is expected even from those who bring food or wine. Please, come prepared. For your individual contribution you get two raffle tickets – of which you can purchase more.
