After close to 8,000 people turned out for the first Italian Fest last year, the city of Boca Raton has added more food and wine vendors and expanded the footprint to close off Federal Highway in front of Sanborn Square for the party from 4 to 10 p.m. Feb. 25.
"We'll have 20 food vendors and multiple bars; last year we had one, this year we have three," said Ruby Childers, the city's downtown manager. "We wanted to make sure the lines are reasonable and there are plenty of options and areas for people to get their food and beverage.
