Siser USA LLC, an Italian-owned solar panel installation and PV developer firm, has located its U.S. headquarters in Charlotte at 11111 Carmel Commons Boulevard, Suite 112.
The firm plans to hire 10 employees in the next three years, including engineers, designers and architects.
Specializing in comprehensive energy solutions for businesses, Siser was incorporated in 2012 to assist commercial clients in all aspects of solar installation. The company's services include plant design; selection of equipment for use in the photovoltaic installation; permitting and license application assistance; financing support; installation; and maintenance. Additionally, Siser is an authorized representative for photovoltaic equipment, including AC/DC inverters, modules, racking and mounting systems, wires, cables and TLC controls.
Through its sister company, Siser Srl, Siser USA LLC benefits from five years of turnkey solar installation in Europe, with more than 50 MW of photovoltaic installations completed in Italy, Germany, Spain and Eastern Europe.
"Siser expanded to Charlotte because of excellent infrastructure, particularly the international airport; an attractive business environment and convenient time zone to Europe; affordable living costs; and high quality of life," said Dr. Guido Barbi, president of Siser. "Our partnership with Chinese solar panel manufacturer, Jetion Solar, www.jetionsolarus.com, was an important reason as well."
The Charlotte Chamber and Jetion Solar worked closely with Siser USA LLC during its evaluation of Charlotte. The chamber thanked Charlotte Mayor Anthony Foxx for his support on this project.
