Roberto Esposito comes to America with help from local musician

When local singer Frank Manzi met Roberto Esposito at a music fest in Italy last summer, the piano virtuoso had never been to America. "He had been accepted to Berklee in 2009 but didn't have the money to go," Manzi said. "He told me he always wanted to come so I invited him to come and stay with me."

Not only did Manzi open up his home, he also utilized his contacts from the entertainment world to get some playing time during Esposito's visit. Esposito is in the midst of a three-week residency at Adolfo's on Worthington Street in Springfield. His final appearance at the restaurant will be on April 23.
