
Italian-born pianist Cristiana Pegoraro will perform in concert at 2:30 p.m. Oct. 25 at All Souls' Episcopal Church, 6400 N Pennsylvania Ave. This is the second concert of Virginia Campbell's 33rd Annual Piano Artist Series. According to a news release, Pegoraro received an award for the best classical music of 1989 in Prague and has been described by The New York Times as "an artist of the highest caliber."
Pegoraro has performed around the world and has released 25 compact discs of her music. She's been a featured artist on radio and television in the United States, Europe, and Asia, the release notes.
