Paolo Rossi, founder of the Italian travel site, Dante in America, is arranging for some exciting late summer travels that may interest the Italian community in New Mexico.
"I take groups of people on a journey through the regions of the world I know best, the places where I spent considerable parts of my life, truly exploring all their unique and complex dimensions," writes Rossi.
This summer there will be 13-day trips to Sicily either August 19-31 or September 2-14. Participants will enjoy both a relaxing stay at a vibrant Sicilian beach resort (Marzamemi) and guided tours to intriguing places rich in arts and culture like Syracuse, Noto, Modica, Caltagirone, Villa Romana del Casale, Monreale, and Palermo.
Participants will be assisted in plunging into the captivating Sicilian atmosphere, in understanding traditional habits and rituals, the unique, magical flavor of the island, and in appreciating the tasty food and warm social life.
