With delivery of a $22,000 check to the UNM Children's Hospital, Italian Festivals of New Mexico (IFNM) brings its total donation to the Hospital to more than $250,000. The dollars have been generated over the past nine NM Italian Film & Culture Festivals through ticket sales, sponsorships and in-kind contributions.
Members of the IFNM board credit the generosity and enthusiasm of festival patrons, sponsors and volunteers for having achieved this milestone level of support to UNMCH. The 2016 NM Italian Film & Culture Festival was one of the most successful to date with a sold-out six days of films and events. Plans are underway for the 2017 festival, scheduled to be held in March with its customary terrific lineup of contemporary, award-winning films, food and wine events and, as always, fun and surprises.
From the IFNM Board of Directors - a ringraziamento di cuore, a heartfelt thanks, to all who attend and support the annual festivals , IFNM's mission to promote Italian culture, and IFNM's commitment to benefit New Mexico's children.
