The annual Irish-Italian parade will roll through Metairie March 22, marking its 33rd year of celebrating both Irish and Italian heritage and culture.
The parade begins at noon at Houma Boulevard and Veterans Memorial Boulevard, and it will follow the traditional Metairie Carnival parade route with a couple of minor changes. The parade will make a U-turn at Severn and 17th Street, and it will not go down Bonnabel Boulevard. Jack Rizzuto is grand marshal for the Italians for the Irish-Italian parade, which will be held March 22 in Metairie.
