Think Louisiana is all French? Well think again. The Schepis Museum in Caldwell Parish is a piece of Italian heritage in the quaint town of Columbia. Built in 1916, the Italian Renaissance-style palazzo has been home to a variety of retail businesses over the years but was converted into a museum in 1993.
Now the Schepis Museum currently owns five permanent exhibits and is in the process of developing an exhibit of artwork by Louisiana artists that will become a part of this collection.
