Culinary Arts students from the College of Southern Idaho tested their Italian cooking skills for the 11th annual Italian Buffet. The annual event tests the skills of CSI Culinary Arts and Hospitality students as they prepare and serve Italian cuisine for the general public. The evening's menu featured an array of fantastic foods including Sweet and Sour Sicilian braised chicken, sausage with meatballs, an eight-layer lasagna and an assortment of salads, breads and desserts.

"They have to market and sell tickets about a month out before they come in. then they have to prepare the food. They've gone around and set everything up and turned all of our classrooms right into restaurant style seating. They really enjoy doing this, it gives them the hands-on that they're looking for" said Dianne Jolovich, Assistant Professor for the CSI Culinary Arts Program.
