We've seen it with jazz, rock, and hip-hop: musicians around the world pick up the American sound and run with it, and we're flattered. But Italian bluegrass? Never fear: Beppe Gambetta is a master innovator of the acoustic guitar, and the music he brings to Lopez Community Center on Sept.25 at 7 p.m. will dazzle bluegrass and world music fans alike. Tickets are $10-15 for adults and $8 for youth. Tickets are at Paper Scissors on the Rock, Lopez Center, at the door and www.lopezcenter.org.
There will also be a guitar workshop with Beppe Gambetta on Tuesday, Sept. 24 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at Lopez Center. The cost is $25 fee and you can regsiter at [email protected].
