Another Italian eatery is preparing to open in the recently closed Anzio Landing restaurant space in Mesa. Pacino's, at Power and McDowell roads, will serve contemporary Italian fare with "a little bit of Hollywood," says owner Frank Spaccarelli.
He and his wife, Alicia, have moved to Mesa from California, where they previously opened, operated and eventually sold two other Pacino's restaurants. The Mesa Pacino's will feature memorabilia and murals referencing the movies of actor Al Pacino, and servers will wear pinstripe shirts, suspenders and fedoras.
